My fitness journey… the good the bad and the in between.

This blog is a place I can put all my thoughts on continuing fitness journey, fitness achievements, goals, food, ups and downs, and everything in between. I will use this to look back and hopefully see my progress and my development.  I wanted a more central location just for this area of my life.

As of January 2, 2019 the publishing of this page, it has been and 4 months into my fitness journey, and it has been a wild ride. In that time I had a kidney stone, uterine cancer, broken toe, and herniated disk in my back. Mostly I ungracefully fall, and then pick myself back up.

I am a mother of two, and have to run a household, while still holding down my jobs. I am a teacher, and a professional chef with a culinary degree/specialization in baking and pastry. Like everyone else I juggle life and living. I am just trying to make the best of it. I am striving to make me better.

Don’t Photo Edit, Just Go Get It

I am still going… it has been a ride. I have a catch phrase… because H said I should. Mumbles hearing something about easy to remember and catchy. That is what people do right, make a catch phrase… or something?

I am still doing my workouts/training, and things have had to adapt and change due to pandemic shenanigans. Everyone has, or they have just given up. I hope not the latter.

So why Don’t Photo Edit, Just Go Get It? I don’t edit my photos, I just crop them. You can see every bump, lump, and imperfection I have… I am just a human training, and reaching for my goals. You be you and go get it, whatever your IT is.
